Seminar in Damascus on leader Ocalan' life

In the context of the activities to celebrate the birth of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Women's Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the Kongra Star Council organized a seminar on the life of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and his struggle path.

The seminar was attended by members of the Women's Council of the PYD, members of the Kongra Star Council, and dozens of residents.

The seminar began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then a member of the Kongra Star Council in Damascus, Ghazala Omar, spoke during which she confirmed that the birth of the leader Abdullah Ocalan is the birth of the Kurdish people and a symbol of the existence and survival of the Kurdish people, and said: "The leader mentioned that he was forced in his childhood to go to a school taught in a language other than his mother tongue, which left an impact on him and made him wonder; Why are the Kurdish people forced to do so?

And she continued, "He started his university years with the political struggle, and began to demand the rights of the Kurds, and established the Kurdistan Workers' Party in 1978, on the principle of demanding the rights of the Kurdish people and equality between men and women."
