The military parade was held with the participation of hundreds of female fighters, under the slogan "Women, Life, Freedom, YPJ ensure the preservation of the women's revolution' values," and hung in pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, Mother A'awesh, and the flags of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) and the People's Protection Units (YPG).

After the military parade, member of the General Command of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), Newroz Ahmed, delivered a speech in which she congratulated the birth of leader Abdullah Ocalan and the anniversary of YPJ founding.

Newroz Ahmed indicated that the leader Abdullah Ocalan is considered the creator of free thought and free life, and he devoted his existence to the struggle for all free people and women, and she continued, saying: "Birth of Leader Ocalan represents the birth of all people and fighters for democracy. I congratulate all the peoples of the world on the birth of Leader Ocalan, and in the person of Mother A'awesh, we salute all the mothers who struggled and are still resisting until now."

As for the 10th anniversary of the founding of YPJ, Newroz Ahmed said during her speech: "Thanks to the thought and wisdom of Leader Ocalan, women have reached this level. Leader Apo gifted the philosophy of women's freedom to all women.

Today, the Women's Protection Units celebrates the anniversary of its tenth anniversary, and we became fighters thanks to Leader Apo's thought and philosophy, and freedom can only be achieved through struggle".

After that, trees were planted to celebrate both occasions.
