32 parties in NE Syria call for withdrawal of Turkish occupation

32 political parties and movements in NE Syria called for unity to end the Turkish occupation of the occupied Syrian regions.

Representatives of political parties in NE Syria and members of Kongra Star participated in the protest organized today, in front of the building of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the city of Qamishlo.

The participants carried a banner in the Kurdish and Arabic languages that read " Fire of Newroz Freedom and Peace", and they raised pictures of the martyrs of the Janders massacre, the olive branches and the flags of political parties. After observing a minute of silence; In honor of the souls of the martyrs, a statement was read by the 32 parties made for the first time on March 23, during a joint press conference, held at the Center for Studies and Diplomatic Relations of NE Syria, in Qamishlo.

The statement was read in Kurdish by the co-chair of the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party, Talal Muhammad, in Arabic by the Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria Nasreddin Ibrahim, and in Syriac by the member of the Syriac Union Party, Galen Issa.

The 32 parties demanded ending the Turkish occupation, and emphasized that Turkey and the coalition are responsible for the Janders massacre, which was committed by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation on the eve of Newroz, in which 4 citizens of one family were martyred. The parties and movements called for unity to end the Turkish occupation of the occupied Syrian regions.

After reading the statement, a delegation composed of those parties delivered a note of protest in English to the United Nations building.
