​​​​​​​ Janders massacre is part of series of massacres against people of Afrin

Mercenaries (Ahrar al-Sharqiya), who work under direct order from the intelligence of the Turkish occupation state, on the eve of Newroz (March 20), committed a heinous massacre in the center of Janders district in occupied Afrin, in which 4 people from one family were killed, and 3 others were injured, due to lighting the Newroz flame.

The co-chair of the Democratic Green Party, Lukman Ahmi, denounced the crimes of the Turkish occupation, and stressed that the term massacre alone is incorrect, because the massacre is part of a series of other crimes committed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in occupied Afrin, and explained: "Murders, cultural genocide, and demographic change will continue in  the occupation is not ended.

Luqman Ahmi explained: "To end the crimes against the original people of Afrin, the occupation must be ended and Afrin returned to its people," and stressed the need for international institutions and organizations and the UN Security Council to take responsibility for returning the displaced and ending the Turkish occupation on Syrian territory.

In turn, a member of the Democratic Conservative Party, Adnan al-Ezzo, held the international forces responsible for the continuation of the Turkish crimes against the people of northern and eastern Syria, describing them as (heinous) against the Kurdish people.

For her part, the joint representative of the Party of Modernity and Democracy for Syria, Haifa Mahmoud, explained that the goal of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in committing the massacre is to extinguish the flame of freedom and break the resistance, by continuing to commit crimes, demographic change, killing and looting in Afrin.

And it called for the escalation of the struggle until victory and the end of the Turkish occupation of the Syrian lands.
