The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) condemned the horrific massacre committed by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state against the people of occupied Afrin.

The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Jalal Talabani issued a statement condemning the massacre that targeted the Kurds in Jandris in the occupied city of Afrin.

The following is the text of the telegram:

"We strongly denounce the mass murder in Jandris and the martyrdom of 4 of our compatriots in Afrin. The relevant authorities must work to bring the perpetrators to justice as soon as possible."

"We, the Kurds, fully believe in peace and harmony among peoples, and we reject any violence or crime committed against our citizens under any name," the statement added.

The statement concluded, "We extend our deepest sympathy to the families of the victims, and we share with you this national grief."
