​​​​​​​Israeli missiles hit the area of ​​Aleppo International Airport

Israeli warplanes targeted Aleppo International Airport and a weapons depot belonging to pro-Iranian groups in the vicinity of the airport, which led to its complete destruction, and the airport being temporarily out of service, without information to this moment about human losses, according to the Syrian Observatory.

An agency affiliated with the Damascus government quoted a military source in a statement, "At around 3:55 (local time) today, the Israeli enemy carried out an air attack with missiles from the direction of the Mediterranean, west of Latakia, targeting the vicinity of Aleppo airport."

The source added that the attack "caused some material damage at the airport."

It is noted that this is the second time that Israel has targeted Aleppo International Airport during the month of March.

It is also noted that this is the sixth time that Israel has targeted Syrian territory since the beginning of 2023.

On the 7th of March, Israeli missiles targeted Aleppo International Airport with a number of missiles, at least 3 of which reached their targets and the missiles hit the airport runway, which led to it being completely out of service, in addition to killing of 3 people, including a Syrian officer, according to the Syrian Observatory.
