PYD decries Janders massacre that committed by Turkey gangs

The Council of the Democratic Union Party issued a statement regarding the massacre committed by the Turkish state and its mercenaries against civilians in Janders district in occupied Afrin, in which 4 civilians were killed while they were set on fire by Newroz.

The statement first condemned "the heinous massacre committed by the Turkish state and its mercenaries in the occupied city of Janders against the Kurdish people. We stand in honor and respect before the martyrs of Newroz and those who sacrificed their lives in order to live in freedom and dignity."

Adding, "The Turkish state every time reveals its fascist face and its arbitrary policy against the Kurdish people. By killing Kurdish citizens in Janders and Afrin, it proves that it is an enemy to the existence of the Kurdish people and to every honorable Kurds who preserves his identity. What happened in Janders is a continuation of the policy of displacement and ethnic cleansing." usurpation and demographic change pursued by the Turkish state in the occupied territories.

The statement called on the peoples of the region to stand together against this policy of extermination and to condemn and denounce all those who stand with the mercenaries and legitimize their policies. He also appealed to the international community to end these violations and to show a humane stance towards the suffering of our people in the occupied territories.

The Democratic Union Party Council ended its statement by saying: "We, as the Democratic Union Party, assure our people in Afrin that our struggle will continue against the occupation, and we will follow in the footsteps of our martyrs, and we will work hard to defeat the occupation and liberate Afrin and all the occupied areas."
