Fawza Youssef: Newroz 2023 will break imperial system, liberate  occupied territories

Fawza Youssef joined the celebration that was organized in the center of Qamishlo canton, in Newroz Square, the town of Hemo, and thousands of people from the city of Qamishlo and the district of Tel Hamis joined her, and she addressed the crowds, after listening to excerpts from the audio recordings of leader Abdullah Ocalan's assessments of Newroz and its importance to the people.

Youssef, at the outset of her speech congratulated the people of Qamishlo and all the Kurds in the four parts of Kurdistan on the occasion of Newroz.

Youssef confirmed that the peoples of Mezpotamia and the Kurds are blessing today a distinguished Newroz because they affirm the persistence of their will once again against all strife, forces and attacks, to live freely and with dignity on their land."

She continued: "We make clear to the whole world, and to the enemy, our insistence on developing and strengthening the project of the democratic nation and the new Newroz project for the peoples with all its components, including Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Turkmen and Assyrians on this land, we bless our new Newroz and continue our struggle."

Youssef drew attention to the strict isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and said: "The leader of the Kurdish people is subjected to strict isolation because he seeks a free life on this land. The Leader has continued for 50 years his struggle and resistance in the name of all of us; the imperial system is a system against all peoples, so we confirm that we will break the imperial system, and fulfill leader's physical."

"We will not forget Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî"

Youssef affirmed: "We will not forget Afrin, Serêkaniyê, and Girê Spî, and we will continue our struggle and resistance for their liberation.

 In NE Syria, we are creating a new life, and the Autonomous Administration is creating a new system and culture of democracy for all peoples, and this system is a solution to the Syrian crisis."

Youssef called on the Damascus government to sit at the dialogue table: "Because the solution does not lie in Moscow and Ankara, but rather in Syria. Let's write together the Syrian democratic constitution, because democracy is the best solution for Syria."

Fawza Youssef also renewed her call to all Kurdish parties and the four parts of Kurdistan to jointly eliminate the Lausanne Agreement, guarantee their rights, stand up to injustice and chauvinism, and liberate people from occupation, renewing the pledge to all martyrs to raise their flag high until their cause is fulfilled.
