AANES offers condolences for martyrdom of 9 fighters of SDF

 The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement to the public opinion, in which it mourned the families of the 9 martyrs, as follows:

 In the context of continuing efforts to combat terrorism, we received, with regret, the news of the death of a group of anti-terrorism forces affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces, following the crash of the helicopter that was transporting them heading to Sulaymaniyah, Başûr Kurdistan.

 Over the past years, these martyrs devoted their lives to defending our people and made great efforts in combating terrorism and participated in the campaign to end ISIS. They were continuing to preserve civil peace and combat terrorism and its cells in various regions of north and east Syria. They also had a pioneering role  on various fronts to combat international terrorism.

 In the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, we extend our deep condolences to the families of the nine martyrs, as well as to the Syrian Democratic Forces, stressing that the approach of the martyrs will remain a path for our people towards achieving stability, combating terrorism and building a free and democratic society in which coexistence prevails.
