Iranian state executes 4 detainees

The website of the Kurdistan Human Rights Network revealed that on the morning of March 10, four detainees were executed in the central prison of the city of Urmia in Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan).

According to the information published by the website, the four detainees were executed on charges of "narcotics", and the identities of three of them were revealed:

Jalal Sardar from the people of the city of Naqda.

Saleh Qasimi is from the village of Zendasht, which is affiliated to Salmas.

Mansour Abdizadeh is from the village of Haftawan, which belongs to Selmas.

It was said that the four detainees were transferred, on March 7, to solitary cells in Urmia prison. in preparation for the implementation of the death penalty.

According to statistics, at least 12 people have been executed on various charges in Rojhelat prisons during the past three weeks.

After the start of the "Women, Life, Freedom" uprising, and since the beginning of this year, a large number of citizens have been executed in Iran, especially in Rojhelat Kurdistan.

According to human rights activists, the Iranian state seeks to intimidate the people and put an end to the protests by executing non-political criminal detainees.
