9 demonstrations in NE Syria decry international conspiracy

Today, February 15, 2023, marks the black day, on this day in 1999, the leader Abdullah Ocalan was kidnapped, following an international conspiracy, from the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, to be handed over to Turkey, which detains him in the notorious Imrali Island prison, and imposes strict isolation on him.

9 demonstrations are taking place today in various cities and districts of NE Syria, under the slogan "With the struggle of the peoples, we will destroy the imperial regime," and in Kurdish "Bi Tekoşîna Gelan Emê Pergala Îmraîl hilweşînin."

The program for these demonstrations is as follows:

Qamishlo Canton

* Qamishlo: The demonstration will start from Sony Roundabout towards the Muhammad Sheikho Center for Culture and Art, provided that the departure time is 10:30.

* Gîrkê legê: It starts at 11:00 from Martyr Khabat Square.

Derik: starts from Freedom Square at 11:00.

Hasaka Canton

* Hasaka: The gathering will be in the Sinalko roundabout in the Tal Hajar neighborhood at 11:00, and the demonstration will end near Al-Qaed Park in the Al-Nasserah neighborhood of the city.

Al-Darbasiya: The demonstration starts in front of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Center at 11:00, to end in front of the Kongra Star Center.

Kobani:

In Kobani, the demonstration will start at 11:00 from the Free Woman Square in the city center of Kobani towards Street 48.

Tapqa

The demonstration will start in front of the garden of the martyr Hevrin Khalaf, located in the third neighborhood, at 12:00 noon.

Raqqa

A torch march for the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, at 17:00, starting in front of the Youth Center.

Shahba

The demonstration will start in Favin district of the canton, at 12:00.
