ANHA monitors, with videos, photos cracked buildings in Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh

 Our agency's correspondents monitored, with photos and videos, the damage to a number of residential buildings in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods as a result of the earthquake that struck the area, which led to the loss of 6 people and the injury of 52 others, according to the Martyr Khaled Fajr Hospital.

 Photos and videos show many buildings that have cracked and deviated from their center of balance.  Which made it uninhabitable and ramshackle.

 The communes in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods worked to evacuate the buildings from their residents and direct them to temporary shelters in public squares and gardens by the General Council of the two neighborhoods and the People and Women's Protection Units in Aleppo.

 In addition, the People's Municipality runs many of its engineering committees;  To work on the initial inspection of the buildings at maximum speed to identify the dangerous ones, and to evacuate the residents scattered in their vicinity.

 The Afrin and al-Shahba canton council had announced earlier its readiness to receive those affected by the earthquake, which affected large areas of Syria, and on this basis, 2,500 families from the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods went to al-Shahba.

 It is noteworthy that dozens of buildings in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods were bombed.  During the attacks of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army on the two neighborhoods in 2016.
