Executive Committee member of Kurdistan Community Union (KCK), Mustafa Karaso, made a statement about the earthquake that struck many Kurdish cities on February 6, calling on the community to provide support, according to Al-Furat News Agency.

The statement of Karaso reads:

"The earthquake, which happened in Bazarjiq and Albstan, and because of it, Amed and Raha in the east of the Euphrates were severely damaged. May God have mercy on all those who lost their lives, and I wish a speedy recovery for the injured, and we offer our condolences to the families, the people of Kurdistan and the peoples of Turkey.
