Syrian Federation for Human Rights sends urgent appeal to help Syrians

The Administrative Board of the Syrian Federation for Human Rights sent an urgent humanitarian appeal to the United Nations bodies, the permanent states in the Security Council, the international and regional bodies concerned with human rights, and the Red Cross and Red Crescent; In order to quickly intervene to help the people of Syria who were affected by the earthquake that struck the region.

In a statement, the Syrian Federation for Human Rights and organizations and bodies concerned with defending human rights in Syria called on United Nations bodies, permanent states in the Security Council, international and regional bodies concerned with human rights, and the Red Cross and Red Crescent to intervene urgently and work to help the afflicted Syrians in the various affected Syrian sites and places. It was hit by the earthquake, and for urgent help, hundreds of families searched under the rubble to find out their fate.

She added, "We, in the Syrian Federation of Human Rights Organizations and Bodies, declare our full solidarity with the families of the victims and extend our heartfelt condolences to the dead, wishing all the wounded a speedy recovery, and record our hope for urgent assistance in rescuing the missing under the rubble so far."

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Federation of Human Rights Organizations and Commissions includes 92 organizations, centers and commissions inside Syria.
