​​​​​​​MMC provides relief materials to those in shelter tents

Yesterday, dozens of tents were erected in NE, Syria in cities, districts and towns, to shelter the people in the event of any danger, and also for citizens who feel the danger of their homes collapsing after the earthquake that occurred at dawn on Monday.

In the city of Manbij, the Manbij Military Council hastened to provide relief materials, including fuel and food, to the families who sought refuge in the tents that were erected at the initiative of the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij and its countryside, and the citizens.

In the context, the commander of the Martyr Dersim Brigade in the forces of the Manbij Military Council, Burkan al-Qubbah, said: "After the earthquake struck the area and the people feared the collapse of the residential buildings, and they evacuated them, we rushed to provide services for the tents that were erected in the city of Manbij for shelter."

He continued, "We provided fuel oil for heating and foodstuffs, in an emergency manner," stressing: "We are available around the clock to serve our people because it is our duty to protect and assist them, and we are fully prepared for any emergency."

Yesterday, through a statement, the Syrian Democratic Forces extended their condolences to the people in the cities of Marash, Dilok, and all areas of Bakur that were exposed to the earthquake, and declared their solidarity with them, and confirmed that their forces are ready to provide immediate assistance to overcome the effects of the earthquake on Syrian territory.
