ALF: Turkish occupation army bombs earthquake-affected Tel Rifaat

 Today, the Afrin Liberation Forces issued a written statement, in which it stated that a Turkish attack had taken place on Tal Rifaat district of al-Shahba canton, after midnight on Monday.

 The text of the statement reads as follows:

 Today, the occupied Turkish Ministry of Defense issued a statement claiming that the People's Protection Units (YPG) attacked one of its bases in the city of Azaz, which is called "Ongopnar" base, with heavy weapons, from the side of Tal Rifaat. We, in turn, note that there is no presence of the YPG in the district of Tal Rifaat.

 We have forces in the aforementioned area, as we know to the media and public opinion

 We have forces in the aforementioned area, as we know that our people in the aforementioned areas and throughout Syria faced an earthquake of a high level, besides it, our forces did not attack enemy bases.  On an almost daily basis, last night, on February 6, the Turkish occupation army bombed the Tal Rifaat area, although it was an area highly damaged by the earthquake.

 We confirm once again that this statement is baseless and is misleading.

 We, in turn, the Afrin Liberation Forces, offer our condolences to the families of all those who lost their lives in the earthquake, and we wish a speedy recovery for the injured.
