International Delegation against Isolation concludes its visit to Amed

On the last day of its visit to Amed, on Friday, the delegation met with members and representatives of these associations and unions, the mother of the martyr Akid Ipek, Halisa Aksoy, to whom the Turkish authorities delivered the body of her son by a freight car.

During the visits, the delegation listened to representatives of associations and trade unions, who in turn informed it of some information.

The co-chair of the Association for the Support and Assistance of the Families of the Missing in the Cradle of Civilization, Sheikhmous Kardağ, spoke about the activities of his foundation, and said: "Our association officially runs its activities, and many people lost their lives as a result of this ongoing war, where this institution was established at the request of the families. There is a war in Kurdistan For years, but families want to bury their children's bodies according to their beliefs, the shrines are often attacked, bodies are mutilated, and they are delivered to families by trucks."

Kardağ drew attention in his speech to the use of chemical weapons, and said: "It is necessary to form an independent committee and investigate the use of chemical weapons."

Kardağ explained that they are doing their work officially, but they still face obstacles, and he mentioned that the Turkish authorities often do not allow them to do their work.

He also talked about isolation, and said: "Peace will become the agenda when the Imrali gate is opened and isolation is lifted, as peace will not be achieved without the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the war will not stop, and it is necessary for independent institutions and bodies to participate in the efforts to lift isolation and achieve physical freedom for the leader Abdullah." Ocalan.”

The co-chair of the Association for Support and Assistance of the Families of the Missing in the Cradle of Civilization, Yuksel Almas, stated that as a result of the 45-year war, the Kurdish people suffered a lot, and indicated the importance of reaching a solution, and said: "We will not stop our struggle, we will resist until the end."

She stated that journalists are arrested in Turkey more than others in the world, and she continued: "The work of the press in Turkey is very difficult, and if these journalists are from the Kurds and Kurdistan, the pressure increases, and we are investigated because of the news we publish, as the Kurds work in their newspapers and channels." As their agencies for more than 30 years, and so far about 50 journalists have been assassinated, their buildings were bombed and they went missing during the investigation, and this pressure changes and manifests according to operations, that is why the pressure are increasing with the arrival of the Justice and Development Party to power.
