AA in jazira region meets with US State Department's envoy to NES

 Today, Friday, the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in al-Jazira region received the US State Department envoy to north and east Syria, Nicholas Granger, and his accompanying delegation at the council's headquarters in Amuda district of Qamishlo canton.

 The delegation was received by the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in region, Talaat Younes, the deputy co-presidency of the Council, Muhammad al-Barrak, and the advisor to the co-presidency of the Council, Jihan Khalil.

 During the visit, the two parties held a meeting closed to the media, which lasted about two hours.

 After completing the visit, the co-chair of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in region, Talaat Younes, explained to our agency that the discussions centered on the challenges facing the Autonomous Administration, and continuing to support the Syrian Democratic Forces in the face of ISIS mercenaries.

 During the visit, the delegation of the US State Department's envoy to north and east Syria, Nicholas Granger, blessed the ninth anniversary of the establishment of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in region, pointing to the Autonomous Administration's insistence in facing all challenges and attacks.

 While the delegation emphasized their continued support and alliance with the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) in the face of "terrorism", and that they "will consolidate all their capabilities to protect the stability of the region and continue to support the Autonomous Administration and the SDF forces until ending the threat of ISIS in the region", and their attempts to resolve the Syrian crisis, and their continued support  stability in the region.

 Take a stand on the Turkish attacks

 In turn, the Democratic Autonomous Administration in al-Jazeera region assured the delegation of the US State Department's envoy to north and east Syria, Nicholas Granger, to continue its efforts to confront "terrorism."

 The Autonomous Administration stressed the need for the US State Department to take a strict stance towards the danger of the Turkish attacks against the regions of northern and eastern Syria, and the need to take a stand against the daily attacks and targeting of the Turkish marches and their attempts to occupy the region, in addition to the need to support the Autonomous Administration and its institutions in the face of the economic challenges it faces.

 For its part, the delegation of the US State Department's envoy to north and east Syria, Nicholas Granger, confirmed their continuation of their efforts to prevent any attack against the regions of north and east Syria.
