​​​​​​​ KRC provides help to victims in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods

 The collapse of a building in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood caused the death of 16 people and injured two others, while investigations are still ongoing to uncover the direct causes of the building's collapse.

 In this regard, and as a step to financially support the families of the victims, the Kurdish Red Crescent in the Al-Shahba and Afrin branches took the initiative to provide aid to the affected people.

 The Red Crescent granted 5 million Syrian pounds to each family, in addition to covering the costs of treating the injured Mustafa Ibo and Jamal Jaarour.

 In addition to granting a sum of 15 million pounds to Mustafa Ebo (17 years old), who lost his entire family during this tragedy.

 After completing the visit of the committee and distributing the aid to all the families, the administrator of the Kurdish Red Crescent, Hassan Nabo, spoke to our agency, starting his speech by sympathizing with the souls of the victims of the collapse of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood building, and wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.

Nabo said that the aid distribution initiative came to alleviate the effects of the siege imposed on the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud, Al-Ashrafiya, and Al-Shahba district.

 At the end of his speech, Hassan confirmed that they in the Red Crescent will provide all the help possible.

 It is noteworthy that the Internal Security Forces in Aleppo issued a statement revealing the preliminary results of the investigations and indicating that the investigation will continue until the direct causes of the building collapse are discovered.
