 Thousands of people gathered in the western section of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in the city of Aleppo, holding pictures of the martyrs of the Resistance of the Age and the 19th of July Revolution, alongside banners that read (Return is our promise, no to occupation, no to demographic change).

 The demonstration started with the chanting slogans saluting the resistance of the People's and Women's Protection Units and the Afrin Liberation Forces, calling for an escalation of the struggle to conquer most of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods.

 After the demonstrators arrived in front of the Olive Roundabout, two speeches were delivered by each of the member of the Committee of Clan Notables, Sheikh Ali Al-Hassan, and a member of the Relations Committee of the Nergiz Bakr of Kongra Star.

 Afrin is the beating heart of Kurdistan

 Bakr began her speech by describing Afrin as the beating heart of Kurdistan, and she also noted that the enemy's goal is to disperse this resistance by displacing and occupying its population.

 However, the will of the people spoke and rejected the reality formed by the occupiers and imposed on the region, stressing that the weapon of liberating Afrin is to continue to follow the line of challenge, resistance and struggle.

Regarding the importance of the unity of the peoples in the four parts of Kurdistan to confront the genocide imposed by the occupiers and conspirators on Kurdistan, she said, "The people must unite in front of these attacks that affect Başûr, Bakur, Rojava and Rojava, even affecting Imrali. No one can restrain our revolution. We will win with the will of our fighters, and show the world who it is."  They are the people who have fed on the philosophy of leader Ocalan."

 "We are coming Afrin"

 As for Sheikh Ali Al-Hassan, he said, "We are passing through these days the fifth anniversary of the occupation of Afrin. Whenever we remember the January 18^th, we feel sorrow for the occupation of Afrin, but at the same time, we feel pride because our sons, fighters, women, and men stood firm in the face of the third army in NATO for 58 days."  This is proof that those who have held out for so long are able to liberate Afrin."

 Ali Al-Hassan continued by emphasizing that steadfastness and resistance are among the latest types of weapons in front of warplanes and tanks, "They were confronting tanks with their bodies, and the greatest example is the martyrs Arin Mirkan, Barin Kobani and Avista Khabur and those young men who stood firm will one day return to Afrin and liberate it. From Sheikh Maqsoud we say an oath to the Lord of Heaven."  And by the blood of the martyrs and the tears of their children and fathers, we are coming, O Afrin.”

Ali drew attention to the fact that Afrin embraced all the components of the Syrian people. Afrin would not have fallen had it not been for the betrayal of those close to it and the darkness of those far away. "They left Afrin to its fate, and it steadfastly fought an army that the entire armies of the Middle East could not stand against, and this is evidence that we are the owners of the cause and the owners of the right."

 At the end of his speech, Sheikh Ali Al-Hassan said, "We left Afrin, but does our departure mean that we will not return? No, you have lost, so we will return to Afrin, conquering and liberating our land, and we will be buried in the land of Afrin, because the land of Afrin will not accept an unclean body in it, but will accept the bodies of its children, so until now, the blood has not dried up."  The martyrs, and the blood of the martyrs will not dry up. We must prepare the equipment, as we only left to return, and the days are countries.”

 The demonstration ended with the renewal of the pledge to escalate the struggle, revenge and work to liberate Afrin.
