​​​​​​​Barkal excludes possibility of completely eliminating ISIS without holding Turkish occupation state accountable

 ISIS mercenary cells increased their activity during the last period, at a time when the Syrian Democratic Forces were busy confronting the attacks of the Turkish occupation;  With the aim of destabilizing security and stability in the region.

 On this issue, the deputy chairman of the Future Syria Party in the city of Manbij and its countryside, Muhammad Barkal, said, "Some people think that ISIS has ended in its last stronghold in Al-Baghouz, but in fact, it is a renewed thought that appears in forms and methods."

 He added, "As long as there is a party that finances it financially and humanly, and what confirms this is that the international coalition is still putting all its weight in all of the Syrian and Iraqi lands to eliminate it."

 He added: "This organization has not ended, as long as there are international policies that benefit from its ideology. We see that the Turkish occupation state is the source of the organization, opening of its borders, airports and hotels to finance ISIS mercenaries, and providing them with facilities to reach the Syrian lands."

 Barkal stressed that "all indications indicate that the Turkish occupation state is the main supporter of ISIS mercenaries, so the international powers must take an international decision against it, as ISIS has ended as a force on the ground, but its ideology is still present in northern Syria and Iraq."

 Barkal explained that "the evidence of this is the terrorist acts carried out by ISIS mercenaries," and said, "At the beginning of 2022, ISIS mercenaries attacked al-Sina'a prison in Ghweran, Hasakah, with the aim of getting the mercenaries out of prison, through an intelligence scheme indicating that there is a funder  for this organisation."

 Referring to the recent attacks of ISIS mercenaries on the headquarters of the Internal Security Forces in the city of Raqqa, Barkal said, "We recently witnessed the attack on the center of the Internal Security Forces in Raqqa by one of ISIS cells. Every terrorist act in northeastern Syria appears on the media and is adopted by the organization."

 He added, "On December 29, 2022, the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces combed al-Hawl and Tal Hamis district to purify it from these terrorist outposts."

 At the end of his speech, Barkal indicated, "The people suffered a lot from the ideology of ISIS, and after the crimes committed by ISIS, the people in northeastern Syria see that it is the most dangerous organization on the ground," and he said, "We, the people of the region, take all security measures to maintain the security and stability of the region,  And we will be behind our forces to confront all attacks and assaults on our regions.”
