​​​​​​​Tal Abyad Military Council: Turkish occupation army intensified its attacks early this year

 Northern and eastern Syria, especially the areas of contact with the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, are subjected to repeated attacks by land and air.

 Ain Issa district and the villages located in the western countryside of the occupied Girê Spi canton, adjacent to the areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, constitute a permanent target for the occupiers.

The continuous bombardment of these areas during the past three years resulted in the loss of dozens of civilians' lives, in addition to massive destruction of homes and infrastructure, especially water pumping stations and the electricity network.

 Speaking about the current situation on the fronts of Ain Issa and the western countryside of Girê Spî, Wissam Al-Omar, spokesman for the Tell Abyad Military Council, "the Turkish occupier has not stopped bombing the safe areas of the countryside of Girê Spî canton and Ain Issa district, since its occupation of Girê Spî canton on October 9, 2019."

 He continued, "With the beginning of 2023, it intensified its attacks along the front lines, using all heavy and light weapons, and targeting citizens' homes to push them to emigrate from them."

 Al-Omar pointed out that "the policy of the Turkish occupier aims to undermine the security and stability that our regions live in, with the aim of implementing its plans based on occupying more Syrian lands and spreading terrorism" in them.

 Al-Omar assured our agency of the readiness of their forces to confront all attempts by Turkey and its mercenaries to thwart their plans to occupy more Syrian lands, vowing to "continue the resistance until all the usurped lands are liberated."
