​​​​​​​About 30 members killed, wounded in clashes of Damascus forces and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham

Mercenaries of "Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq" brigade of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham carried out a new attack, targeting positions of Damascus forces on a hill in Kawkaba village in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib countryside.

Violent clashes took place between Damascus forces and HTS gangs, followed by mutual artillery shells and heavy machine guns, amid confirmed reports of deaths and injuries among the Damascus forces.

SOHR said that "At least three Damascus soldiers were confirmed dead and four others injured as a preliminary toll, and at least four members of mercenaries of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham suffered varying injuries.

In this context, Damascus forces fired heavy artillery shells on Fulayfel village in the southern Idlib countryside. However, no casualties were reported.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory documented the killing of 3 mercenaries of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and 5 of the Damascus forces, in addition to the fall of 10 wounded between the two parties, as a result of an attack by the mercenaries of Tahrir al-Sham on the positions of the Damascus forces within the Basraton axis in the western countryside of Aleppo.

This brings to 29 the number of dead and wounded in two separate attacks by the mercenaries of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham on the positions of Damascus forces and militiamen loyal to them in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib in less than 24 hours.
