​​​​​​​Syrian opposition figures in Turkey express their support for SDC

Yesterday, the Syrian Democratic Council and Syrian National Coalition revealed the existence of a joint plan to solve the Syrian crisis.

The Co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, Amina Omar, told ANHA agency, "the Syrian Democratic Council and the Syrian National Coalition share many points, represented in the unity of the Syrian territories, democratic transformation, and the future of Syria, and the emphasis on the Syrian dialogue in formulating a comprehensive political solution in Syria in accordance with Security Council Resolution 2254, and the safe return of the displaced people. But there are powers that always try to divide the Syrians."

And on the joint work mechanism that they reached, Omar explained, "Work will be done to form committees to implement the common points between the 2 parties, and express common positions, and the next stage will be the stage of translating the joint vision into reality."

Regarding their diplomatic activity with the political powers, Amina Omar said, "We have diplomatic and political work, and we are open to all political powers and democratic personalities, with everyone realizing the truth of the Syrian Democratic Council project, which certainly represents and expresses the aspirations of the Syrian people, so there is a tendency to Syrian Democratic Council."

Amina Omar revealed, "The position of the Syrian Democratic Council on the recent rapprochement of Turkey and the Syrian regime received positive reactions, especially in the Turkish occupation areas."

And she noted that "SDC is currently in the process of discussing and studying the positive reactions that came from these personalities and powers, and how to stay in contact, work together, and reach a common mechanism and a common position to stand up to Turkish ambitions."

The Co-chair of Syrian Democratic Council, Amina Omar, welcomed "all initiatives that would unify efforts and positions among the Syrians."
