NE, Syria people demonstrate for 1st Paris massacre martyrs

Demonstrations denouncing the first and second Paris massacres took place in the cities of Kobani, Manbij, Tabqa and Aleppo, on the tenth anniversary of the first Paris massacre.

Kobani

The demonstration, which was organized in the city of Kobani, began under the slogan "With a calm spirit and avenue, we will hold the killers accountable," with the participation of thousands of residents of the Euphrates region, from the Free Women's Square towards the Peace Roundabout near the "Murshid Pinar" border gate with Bakur (Northern Kurdistan).

Then Zozan Bakr, member of the Kongra Star Coordination in the Euphrates region, delivered a speech in which she emphasized, "Our steadfastness here is a message to every tyrant who said that he would break the will of women through massacres, but we say to our enemy: We will avenge our martyrs."

She added, "They commit massacres against us, but we have overcome all that, with the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, because the time is the time for freedom, the time for advancement, and no one will be able to distance us from the path of freedom, and we will follow the path of the martyrs Sakîne Cansiz and her companions."

Zozan affirmed that "women in Kurdistan have broken the barrier of fear, thanks to the martyr fighters, led by Sakîne Cansiz," calling, at the end of her speech, the French government to prevent the massacres committed against the Kurds within its territory.

Manbij

The people of the city of Manbij and its countryside, members of women's institutions, the Young Women's Union, and the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement took part in a demonstration. In remembrance of the martyrs of the first and second Paris massacres, and to denounce the massacres of the Turkish occupation state against the peoples of the region.

For his part, the co-chair of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement in Manbij and its countryside, Ahmed al-Jumaili, said, "We stand together against all the massacres of the Turkish occupation against our people and our comrades in the four parts of Kurdistan," calling on "the French authorities to reveal the perpetrators of the first and second Paris massacres.”

Tabqa

The people of Tabqa city went out in a demonstration, organized by the office of the Zenobia Women's Gathering, which started in front of the garden of the martyr Hevrin Khalaf.

Then, the administrator in the office of the Zenobia Women's Gathering, Nour al-Hefni, delivered a speech in which she recalled the fighter, Sakîne Cansiz, and her companions, and emphasized the fight against all plans and attacks against the approach of the martyrs.

For her part, the Democratic Civil Administration Adviser in al-Tabqa, Elam al-Muhammad, delivered a speech in which she stated, "The martyr Sakîne Cansiz and her two companions struggled to reach the liberation of women from oppression and slavery."

Stressing the need to intensify efforts to raise the voice of truth and hold the perpetrators of the first and second Paris massacres accountable.

Aleppo

Hundreds of women, members and representatives of political parties and civil institutions took part in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods of Aleppo in a demonstration organized by Kongra Star and the Young Women Union. To denounce the first and second Paris massacres.

Then Souad Hassan gave a speech on behalf of Kongra Star, in which she denounced France's silence in the face of the Turkish occupation massacres on its land, and confirmed that the Turkish occupation state targets women in European countries through its intelligence, and in return, those countries do not put an end to it. Souad Hassan promised to avenge them.

In her turn, a member of the Young Women's Union, Alia Muhammad, confirmed that the attack that targeted the revolutionary fighter, Sakîne Cansiz, Leyla Şaylemez, Fîdan Dogan, "was aimed at targeting the thought and ideology of women's liberation, because the Turkish occupation fears the personality of women." The freedom that rejects the mentality of the authoritarian state and the ruling regime.
