On 7th day of  "Thunderbolt of Jazira"... SDF arrests more mercenaries

 Today, Wednesday, the media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement to the public opinion, announcing the arrest of more mercenaries.

 It says in its text:

 The joint forces in Operation " Thunderbelt of Jazira" continue to track and pursue ISIS terrorist cells in the areas of Tal Hamis, Tell Brak and Al-Hol, for the seventh day in a row.

 On the seventh day, the forces combed the villages of Rabia, Taghlib Fawqani, Taghlib Tahtani and Mathloutha in the countryside of Tel Hamis, as well as the roads connecting al-Hol and Tel Hamis, and the Syrian-Iraqi border area for a distance of 40 km.

 During the combing operation, the forces arrested one of the ISIS mercenaries who carried out financial extortion operations against the people in favor of the cells of the terrorist organization, and he was in possession of weapons and ammunition, and the forces also arrested another mercenary involved in many attacks and repeatedly tried to escape from the operation forces.

 The forces also found a quantity of weapons, which the cells of the terrorist organization hid in the farms of the people, as well as a quantity of unauthorized military clothing that the terrorist cells used as camouflage.

 In conjunction with Operation, the anti-terrorism units of the Syrian Democratic Forces continue their operations against the elements of the terrorist organization in Deir ez-Zor, where they were able to arrest / 3 / terrorist elements, and confiscate several types of weapons, military equipment, and self-devices that were in their possession.
