 During 2022, the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) carried out hundreds of operations against ISIS sleeper cells in northern and eastern Syria, thwarted the attacks of ISIS detainees in Al-Sinaa prison, and participated in the second phase of the "Humanity and Security" campaign in Al-Hol camp and responded to the attacks of the Turkish occupation state within the framework of the legitimate response and arrested dozens of agents and spies as part of the oath operation it launched.

  These are the operations according to the statements issued by the Syrian Democratic Forces and shared with the public opinion:

 * January 18, the Syrian Democratic Forces executed;  Operations in Deir Ezzor and Al-Shaddadi, which resulted in the killing of an ISIS leader and the arrest of another.

 * January 22, the Syrian Democratic Forces announced that they thwarted an attack by the occupiers (the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries) in the countryside of Ain Issa, killing 5 mercenaries and seizing many weapons.

 * January 23, an attack attempt was thwarted on the village of Beraissa in Ain Issa district, killing 10 mercenaries and wounding two others, in addition to destroying two military vehicles and two mercenary headquarters.

 * January 25, the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces carried out a security operation east of Raqqa, which resulted in the arrest of 27 ISIS mercenaries in the countryside of Raqqa.

 * January 20, ISIS mercenaries launched a massive and planned attack on Al-Sina'a prison in Al-Hasakah, where thousands of ISIS mercenaries were being held.  This prompted the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces to launch the "Hammer of Peoples" campaign and completely thwart the attack on January 26.  As a result of this attack, 77 prison workers and guards, 40 fighters and 4 citizens were killed, and 374 ISIS mercenaries were killed.

 * January 29, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested 5 ISIS mercenaries in the town of Dhiban in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, who were preparing to carry out attacks.

 * On February 23, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested an Iraqi mercenary from ISIS while he was trying to flee to Turkish territory.

 * February 6, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested two suicide bombers of ISIS mercenaries in the town of Thiban in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 * February 16, the operations carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces in Deir Ezzor resulted in the killing of a dangerous leader in ISIS and the arrest of another, in addition to finding and confiscating a large amount of weapons and narcotics in the possession of the mercenaries.

 * On February 13, an ISIS financier in northern and eastern Syria, responsible for delivering money to ISIS families, was arrested in Al-Hol camp.

 * May 8, the Anti-Terrorism Units of the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested an ISIS leader and two of his collaborators, in the city of Raqqa.

 * May 16, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested 5 ISIS mercenaries in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and seized weapons and documents proving their involvement in a number of "terrorist operations" in their possession.

* On May 26, the special units of the Syrian Democratic Forces, in a security operation, arrested an ISIS leader in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 * June 1, the Syrian Democratic Forces, in the context of one of its security operations, arrested 4 ISIS mercenaries, including an emir, in the town of Markada, east of Hasakah, and confiscated the weapons and ammunition they had.

 * June 2, the response of the Manbij Military Council fighters to the attacks of the Turkish occupation mercenaries resulted in the killing of two mercenaries of the occupation north of Manbij.

 * On June 8, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested an ISIS mercenary in Raqqa, who was responsible for "recruitment operations, and carried out intelligence work."

 * June 10, the Syrian Democratic Forces carried out a security operation in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, killing a leader of ISIS mercenary cells, who was active in transferring money and distributing it to mercenaries and their families.

  * June 12, the Syrian Democratic Forces carried out an operation in the town of Al-Hol, located near Al-Hol camp in the eastern countryside of Al-Hasakah, which resulted in the arrest of a cell consisting of 3 mercenaries.  This cell was active in transferring money for the benefit of ISIS cells, and financing some active cells in rural Al-Hasakah and various regions of northern and eastern Syria.

 * On June 19, the Special Units of the Syrian Democratic Forces launched an operation; arrested an ISIS leader in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 * On June 21, the Syrian Democratic Forces, during an operation, arrested an ISIS leader in the Tabqa area in the western countryside of Raqqa.

 * June 25, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested an ISIS leader who was responsible for transporting the suicide bombers and providing them with the weapons and equipment needed to carry out the bombings.

 * June 26, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested 3 ISIS mercenaries who were recruiting citizens into the ranks of mercenaries, transporting booby-trapped motorcycles and facilitating the movement of mercenaries and their activities in northern and eastern Syria.

 * On June 26, the Syrian Democratic Forces, through a security operation in Al-Azizia neighborhood in Al-Hasakah, arrested a former ISIS emir involved in murders and executions.

 * June 29, the forces of the Tal Abyad Military Council thwarted an infiltration attempt by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation into the village of Kor Hassan, west of Girê Spî, which resulted in the death of one mercenary and the wounding of another.

 * July 12, the Syrian Democratic Forces, with the participation of the Internal Security Forces, launched a campaign to eliminate ISIS cells in al-Hasakah, al-Hol, Tell Hamis, Tell Brak and Derik.  The campaign resulted in the arrest of 12 mercenaries and the confiscation of weapons, ammunition and military equipment in their possession.

 * On July 18, the anti-terrorism units of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor arrested a mercenary from ISIS who was preparing to carry out terrorist attacks.

July 31, the Syrian Democratic Forces launched the "Oath Operation" in the entire region against the spies and agents who caused the death of a number of fighters and the vanguard leadership.  As part of this operation, 36 members of these spy cells were arrested in the cities of Qamishlo, Tal Tamr, Al-Hasakah, Al-Shaddadi, Deir Ezzor, Raqqa, Manbij, and Kobani.

 * August 8, the Syrian Democratic Forces carried out 3 operations on the borders of the city of Merdin, within the framework of their legitimate right to respond to the attacks of the Turkish occupation state, killing 23 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army and wounding at least two soldiers.

 * On August 11, the Syrian Democratic Forces carried out a special operation in Tal Barak district of Qamishlo canton, killing a member of a Turkish intelligence network and arresting two other spies.

 * On August 17, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested an agent recruited by the Turkish occupation state, who was traveling in a car rigged with high explosives and preparing to detonate it in Al-Hasakah.

 * August 18, the Syrian Democratic Forces carried out 3 operations against the Turkish occupation army on the borders of the cities of Raha, Diluk and Merdin, killing 7 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army and wounding at least 3 others.

 * On August 25, the Internal Security Forces, with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units, launched the second phase of the “Humanity and Security” campaign in al-Hol camp, and the campaign ended on September 17, and resulted in the martyrdom of the two fighters in the Syrian Democratic Forces, Jusour Khabat and Uday Junaidiyeh, and the liberation of the Women’s Protection Units  Two Yazidi girls, 226 ISIS mercenaries, including 26 women who participated in the killings, were arrested, 25 trenches were filled and ammunition and military equipment were confiscated.

 * September 7, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested a number of its members who violated its ethical standards and referred them for investigation.

 * September 8, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested a mercenary from ISIS in the village of Hawi al-Hawa, west of Raqqa.

 * September 26, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested 4 ISIS mercenaries in two operations in Raqqa.

 * On September 28, the Syrian Democratic Forces seized the second largest weapons depot for ISIS in the village of Kairouan, south of Tel Hamis in Qamishlo canton, after seizing the Al-Baghouz warehouse in 2019.

 * On November 24, the Syrian Democratic Forces thwarted the Turkish occupation mercenaries' attempt to attack Zarkan countryside, killing two mercenaries.  The operations in which the mercenaries were targeted with heavy weapons resulted in the killing of 4 occupation mercenaries.

 * November 25, response operations carried out within the framework of the legitimate right of defense resulted in the killing of 12 soldiers of the Turkish occupation and 8 of its mercenaries.

November 25, the operation in which the Syrian Democratic Forces targeted two bases of the Turkish occupation state in the area between Tal Tamr and Zarkan resulted in the killing of 4 mercenaries.

 * November 26, an operation carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces within the framework of the legitimate response resulted in the death of two mercenaries and the wounding of 6 others.

 * November 29, the forces of Tal Tamr Military Council thwarted an infiltration attempt by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state, which resulted in the injury of two mercenaries.

 * 4-8 December, the Syrian Democratic Forces in Zarkan and Tal Tamr thwarted the occupiers' attempts to infiltrate the area and carried out several response operations, killing 18 mercenaries and wounding 6 others.

 * From December 7 to 10, the Anti-Terrorism Units (YAT), in cooperation with the Global Coalition Forces against ISIS, carried out 3 operations against sites where ISIS mercenary cells were hiding in different regions of north and east Syria.  The operations carried out in the towns of al-Hol, Tel Hamis and Deir ez-Zor resulted in the arrest of mercenaries responsible for securing weapons and ammunition for terrorist cells that were seeking to attack al-Hol camp and prisons, in addition to confiscating a quantity of weapons.
