​​​​​​​Water Directorate in Kobani decries Turkish occupation shelling

The statement came after the Turkish occupation army bombed members of the directorate with heavy weapons while they were working at the water station in the village of Sheikh Fawqani, west of Kobani canton, this afternoon. The shelling injured 3 members of the directorate with varying degrees of injury.

At the beginning of the statement, the co-chair of the Water Directorate in Kobani Canton, Masoud Bozi, denounced the Turkish bombing of the members of the Water Directorate, considering it an immoral act, as the injured were on a mission to repair water transmission lines to the city of Kobani and its countryside.

He added, "The Turkish occupation state, by targeting the members of our directorate, targets the lives of thousands of citizens who are waiting for a drop of water to fill their lives after the Turkish occupation state cut off their water."

Masoud Bozi called on human rights organizations and international forces to take action to stop Turkish violations against citizens in the region.

Bozi concluded, "Today, the Turkish occupation state does not distinguish between young and old, as it targets citizens throughout the geography of northern and eastern Syria, and its plan has become clear to everyone, which is to exterminate the peoples of the region."
