2,744 Turkish soldiers killed, 11 helicopters downed in Legitimate Defense Areas

HPG's Media Center announced outcome of 8 months of the ongoing battles between the Guerrilla and the Turkish army in the Legitimate Defense Areas, stressing the killing of 2,744 soldiers and downing of 11 helicopters.

On Thursday, The Media Center of the People's Defense Forces issued a statement to the public opinion, where it revealed the statistics of 8 months of battles between the Guerrilla forces and the Turkish occupation army.

The Media center confirmed that the Guerrilla forces carried out 2,852 specific operations against the Turkish occupation army, during which 2,744 Turkish soldiers were killed, 385 Turkish soldiers were wounded, and 11 helicopters were shot down and 80 damaged.

The Center indicated that 199 Guerrilla fighters were martyred during the ongoing battles.

The Center confirmed that the Turkish occupation army used internationally banned chemical weapons 3012 times during the battles.

The Center added that the Guerrilla forces seized large quantities of weapons and military equipment belonging to the Turkish occupation army, in addition to destroying large quantities of explosives and military equipment.
