Political symposium in Future Syria Party on occupation attacks

 The symposium, which was held in Al-Kasra in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor, began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then the deputy spokeswoman for the General Women’s Council in the Future Syria Party, Samira Al-Aziz, spoke, saying: “We all witnessed the massacre of the Turkish occupation against the citizens in Derik, on the night of last November 19, which led to the death of 11 citizens and attacks starting from Al-Shahba to Derik, targeting infrastructure .

 She added, "Since the beginning of the Syrian revolution, the Turkish occupation plays a negative role in it, as it caused the prolongation of the life of the crisis as a result of its blatant interference in the region and the occupation of its lands."

Samira Al-Aziz noted that the goal of the Turkish occupation state from its recent attacks on the region is to regain face before the presidential and parliamentary elections that will be held in early June 2023, and she said: "Therefore, the Turkish state is trying by various means to destabilize the region, trying to strike the components together." 

 She emphasized, "We, as women in northern and eastern Syria, have a duty to expose these policies in front of the Syrian society and the world, to know the danger of the Turkish state's carving out of the Syrian lands and following the policy of Turkification in the occupied areas, as it did in Iskenderun."

 At the end of the symposium, the attendees reaffirmed the need for unity and cohesion of the components and confronting the occupation attacks.
