​​​​​​​Autonomous Administration of Afrin region recalls martyrs of Tal Rifaat massacre

 Today, dozens of members of the Autonomous Administration of Afrin region and the families of the martyrs of the Tal Rifaat massacre gathered at the site of the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation state three years ago in the western side of the Tal Rifaat district, to make a statement in remembrance of the martyrs of the massacre.

 The statement was read in Arabic by a member of the Legislative Council of the Afrin region, Muhammad Beko, and in Kurdish by a member of the Council, Lina Khalil.

 The statement confirmed, "On this day 2-12-2019, while our children were playing innocently without knowing that terrorism is lurking in their innocence to kill it, as if what the mercenaries did in Afrin on the backs of Turkish tanks, and under the wings of the Turkish death planes, and they destroyed it.  These mercenaries still hit the people of Syria after making them think of soft-spoken words.

 The statement continued, "What the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation did in killing the innocence and childhood of the displaced from Afrin in Tel Rifaat is a war crime in every sense of the word. Despite this, the occupation state continues its hostility to our people and its gains that were achieved thanks to the blood of the martyrs."

 The statement stressed, "We are in the Autonomous Administration of the Afrin region, and at a time when we denounce and denounce the terrorism of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, we call on our people to steadfastness and resistance, and from this place that witnessed the barbarism of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries."
