​​​​​​​Darar: Astana meetings that draws Ankara's policies in its aggression and attack

The Turkish occupying power has intensified its attacks on North and East Syria since midnight on Saturday (19 November).

The occupation is conducting attacks through warplanes and UAvs targeting inhabited areas, villages and towns, as well as installations and infrastructure in the region, resulting in the martyrdom of many citizens.

Brutal attacks of the Turkish occupation came after Istanbul bombing in which accused North and East Syria (Kurdish side) in committing this explosion, but many, including Turks, have questioned these allegations and pointed fingers at Turkish intelligence MIT.

The co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, Riad Darar, commented on these attacks during a talk to ANHA’s agency, saying: "The attacks on Syria and northern Iraq are part of a Turkish arrogance and an attempt to extend and control new Syrian territory, but in the absence of a green light it seeks to establish its vision that there are terrorist attacks on its territory as it retaliates."

He added: "In fact this is part of the fabrication we have always known in many stations, carried out by Turkish intelligence and fabricated many criminal acts attributed to others to carry out such attacks, we believe that these attacks can evolve if they receive some satisfaction or silence from the guarantor states."

Despite losing their lives. Damascus Government did not lift a finger

During the recent Turkish occupation attacks, Government of Damascus points were targeted, resulting in the loss of 15 of its forces.

Nevertheless, the Government of Damascus has not commented on these attacks and the loss of life of a number of its elements, even though it has not formally and directly stated this.

Darar spoke of this, saying: "We mercy the Syrian martyrs from whoever they are; because these soldiers were at the border; With the aim of declaring these areas to be Syrian army and not permitting the intervention of others (Turkish occupation) at the border and carrying out its task of protecting the border, the bombing of these soldiers, which are known areas of Turkey; indicates that he wants to refer a letter to the regime, that he does not want troops at the border to facilitate its entry, if it wants or permits it, and that this letter is therefore known to the regime as evidence that he did not reply or give any reference to this crime.”

He added: " Government in Damascus, even if it replies, will suspend the reply in its own way that it reserves the right of reply and we don't know where it keeps the reply. The regime's position has always been to silence the crimes of the aggressors against Syria, its territory and its people. and that it is one of the perpetuators of such attacks on the Syrian people, the reasons for silence may be a subsequent quid pro quo to be demanded by the Syrian Government in the event of progress in the restorative negotiations between Turkey and the Syrian Government ".

In this context, Darar notes that "these attacks may be part of these negotiations between the Government of Ankara and the Government in Damascus; because meetings preceded in Moscow between the two parties of the intelligence services of the two regimes may be the first incident in a subdivision zone based on such coordination and followed by the following attacks ".

On the negotiations between Damascus and the Turkish occupation, Darar said: "Our comment on such negotiations that attempts to advance reconciliation may be ongoing, but the Turkish leadership's statements that they will be certain after the Turkish elections are over means that they will manipulate events at this point in time between this period and the election period."

It is Astana's meetings that delineate these attacks

This escalation coincided with the Astana-Iran-Turkish occupation tour held on 22-23 this month.

On the connection of this escalation with the Astana tour, Darar said: "All the results of the Astana agreements so far have been from the De-escalation points to many of the agreements under way so far and therefore it is the Astana meetings that are charting Ankara's policies in its aggressions and attacks and silence on these attacks."

"They always plan for Turkey to have a share in this Syrian cake. There is also a share for Iran and Russia, to eliminate all attempts to demand freedom by the Syrian people, and to restore the regime to its first body in control and incursion into the State and society."

We make contact with international forces, but policies must be formulated for sustained resistance.

The co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, Darar, replied to our question about the diplomatic steps they are making in connection with these attacks and said: "There must be contacts with all the international powers and they exist and continue, but we want decisive attitude and this does not yet exist."

He added: "As for the possible expansion of these attacks, there may be interference on the ground and not just aerial bombardment. This is a possibility. Our people should be cautious, resilient against any occupation and policy formulation of ongoing resistance."
