The funeral procession of Dêrik massacre' martyrs set off towards the cemetery of the martyr Khabat, after their families and comrades took their last farewell look at them.

Thousands of Jazera region people, gathered in the city of Derik to participate in the funeral ceremony of 12 martyrs of the Derik massacre.

The martyrs are ANHA' correspondent Issam Abdullah, Hussein Ali, çîçek Harouni, Hilal Qasim, Hadiya Abdullah, Obaid Khaled, Mahmoud Ali, Fayez Abdullah, Nuri Jiftji, Hussein Khalto, Mazen Ossi, and another martyr whose identity has not been identified yet.

The mourners repeated slogans glorifying the sacrifices of the martyrs, and chants denouncing the heinous massacre committed by the Turkish occupation army.

The Turkish occupation state had targeted areas in NE of Syria at midnight on Saturday, which led to the martyrdom of 14 citizens, according to the latest toll published by the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Markets and shops in the Jazeera region closed their doors to mourn the lives of the martyrs.
