Researcher in Turkish affairs: Turkey's goal is to sever ties between Kurdish regions

 The Turkish occupation state continues its attacks on southern Kurdistan and northern and eastern Syria, amid the continued silence of the international powers towards Turkish crimes.

 In this context, Karam Saeed, a researcher specializing in Turkish affairs, referred to Turkish ambitions and the reasons for its attacks on northern and eastern Syria and southern Kurdistan.  The Kurdish areas and preventing interdependence between them, whether in northern Iraq or northern Syria, the next thing is to employ these attacks internally, especially since Turkey is on the verge of pivotal elections in 2023. The third goal is to coordinate and strengthen Turkish influence in northern Syria and northern Iraq and ensure its continuity on these lands. 

 He pointed out that Turkey seeks to employ the current international and regional scene.  Russia's preoccupation with the Ukrainian crisis, the United States of America's preoccupation with the crisis with China against the background of the Taiwan crisis, the US-Saudi dispute, the preoccupation of regional and international powers with the energy issue, in the midst of these events Turkey seeks to strengthen its military operations against the fighters of the PKK to achieve a number of goals that  already mentioned.

 Regarding the reasons for the silence that hangs over the international forces, Karam Saeed, a researcher specializing in Turkish affairs, said, "The failure to hold Turkey accountable or take a strong international or regional stance against Turkish moves, whether in northern Syria or northern Iraq, indicates the regional and international forces' preoccupation with another crisis and the developments of the crisis."  These Ukrainian problems provide a fertile environment for Turkey to escape any punishment and criticism regarding its military intervention or involvement in northern Syria and Iraq.
