TEV-DEM: Istanbul explosion was to cover up Turkey's use of chemicals

 On Wednesday, the Democratic Society Movement issued a written statement to the public about the explosion that occurred on November 13, in the Turkish city of Istanbul.

At the beginning of its statement, the movement said: This explosion will deepen into a serious struggle within Turkey, and features of the inevitable collapse and its negative impact on reality began to become clear through political reactions, This is what was expected from the alliance of the extremist parties of Justice and Development and Nationalist Movement as a result of the hypocrisy and political failure of the authority of this government, which backed terrorism in the region and the world."

It added: "The Turkish occupation state, in its criminal war on the legitimate defense areas, killed its members who were captured by the People Defense Forces in the past year in Garê, and burned the bodies of its soldiers in the battles in order to hide its failure in front of the Turkish public opinion. And it is not strange to carry out such a terrorist crime to target civilians in a crowded tourist market.

The Democratic Society Movement warned of the seriousness of the situation in Turkey, saying: "The seriousness of the current situation in Turkey will expand and cast a shadow on the political, economic, social and even cultural positions, as it began to knock on the throne of Turkish fascism and push it for the worse."

It Stressed that "Turkey, through its inhumane actions, has thrown itself into the embers of the struggling peoples."

The movement concluded its statement by saying: "We in the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) condemn and denounce this terrorist act, and also extend our condolences to the families of the victims and wish speedy recovery for the wounded."
