Ciya Kurd: Turkish occupation - Damascus rapprochement evidence of its bankruptcy

 This morning, under the slogan “No to the rapprochement of the Turkish and Syrian regimes with the terrorists of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, yes to a democratic Syria,” a dialogue forum was launched, organized by the Syrian Democratic Council, in the presence of political figures and representatives of political parties, at the Martyr Akhin Walat Hall for Culture and Art in the Fafin district of al-Shahba canton.

 The co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations in the AANES and East Syria, Badran Ciya Kurd, spoke about the recent developments in the region in general, and the rapprochement between the Turkish occupation and the Damascus government.

Ciya Kurd began his speech by noting that the Turkish occupation state is working to benefit from the Russian-Ukrainian war, and is working on an agreement with all parties through the Tehran and Sochi meeting, in addition to its recent agreement with the Swedish government on its accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

 He criticized the Swedish government's policies regarding its lack of support for the Kurds in north and east Syria, stressing that it expresses that it is satisfied with the pressure exerted by the Turkish occupation state on it, noting that "the Swedish government's change in its position, indicates a change in its attitude towards the struggle and the fight against terrorism as well."

 He added, "We are convinced that the Turkish occupation state cannot succeed in the face of our people's resistance and how it was supporting mercenaries during the Syrian crisis to reach an agreement with the Damascus government."

He stressed that the rapprochement of the Turkish occupation with the Damascus government is evidence of its bankruptcy and weakness, noting that this rapprochement has two goals, first, "to block the way for any solution or political transformation and a Syrian-Syrian dialogue. Secondly, to thwart the successes of the Autonomous Administratio experience in all Syrian territories,  and return the refugees, even by force.

 He also believes that restoring relations with the Damascus government is not in the interest of the Syrian people and the Syrian state, and that it is a new conspiracy against the Syrian administration and people.

 The co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations in the AANES called on the government of Damascus and the Syrian people in general to be vigilant against the plans of the Turkish occupation state, stressing that the agreement cannot support stability and find future solutions to the Syrian crisis.

 On exposing the policies of the Turkish occupation state, Ciya Kurd pointed out that "the responsibility of all parties and national forces to expose such policies and to be vigilant against Turkish plans."

"Today, it is the duty of all Syrians to be decision-makers and take a stand against these policies pursued by the Turkish occupation state, which is experiencing a major crisis with its mercenaries," he added.

 Ciya kurd touched on what is happening in Afrin, saying: "What is happening in Afrin from the expansion of Jabhat al-Nusra to the rest of the regions will lead to major political changes in the near future."

 He added, "We are confident that there is no chance for the Turkish occupation because it relied on the method of liquidation operations and military conflicts and is working to spread the idea of ​​Jabhat al-Nusra. We are ready for dialogue with all parties in light of the new changes because we have a solution project and we are confident in this method that we will be able to liberate Afrin and the rest of the lands."  occupied Syria.

 The co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Badran Ciya Kurd, concluded that the Autonomous Administration areas have a clear project, which is the brotherhood of peoples' project for a democratic future in Syria and for the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, and for its success, the international community realizes that it is necessary to involve  All parties to the solution projects, from the national opposition and the areas of the Autonomous Administration.
