​​​​​​​Thousands of Qamishlo Canton' people are demonstrating against Turkish attacks on the region and Guerilla

Denouncing the attacks of Turkish occupation army on NE Syria, and its chemical attacks on the Guerrilla fighters in the legitimate defense areas in southern Kirstan (Başûr), the demonstration of the components of Qamishlo Canton was launched a while ago.

On 18th of this October, People Defense Forces announced the records of 17 male and female fighters who were martyred by the chemical bombing of the Turkish occupation army on the areas of Zap, Avashin and Matina in southern Kurdistan.

And participates in the demonstration, which was launched under the slogan "Do not be partners in killing us and occupying our land", which was written in 3 languages (Arabic, Kurdish and Russian), thousands of the components of the cities and districts of Qamishlo Canton, clan dignitaries, political parties and Kongra Star, as well as members of civil and military institutions, the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and Young Women's Union.

The demonstrators, who started from the Al-Falahen Roundabout in the center of Qamishlo city towards the headquarters of the Russian forces at Qamishlo Airport, carried pictures of the martyrs of the Turkish chemical attacks and pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and raised banners reading "by your silence, the crimes of genocide continue" and "Your silence kills us."

The demonstrators chanted the slogans "No to the occupation", "No to chemical attacks on Guerrillas" and "Shame on the international silence over Turkish crimes".

Several speeches will be given upon the arrival of the demonstrators to the headquarters of the Russian forces located south of Qamishlo city, and a delegation from People's Initiative of NE Syria will enter the headquarters to deliver a message to the Russian forces that includes people's demands to stop the crimes and Turkish attacks on Kurdistan.
