Politicians- intellectuals: Turkey aims to occupay Southern Kurdistan and Rojava

Turkish occupation seeks to implement Misak-ı Millî and occupation more areas of North and East Syria and control southern Kurdistan to annex them to its territory before ending of Lausanne (2023), by launching attacks on the region and targeting prominent leaders and important figures using agents and spies.

On the subject, the member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party PYD in Aleppo, Mohammed Sheikho, referred to the Turkish occupying state's intensification of its attacks on North and East Syria, saying, "Its attacks are not new, Turkey is proceeding according to the scheme it drew up years ago, and it is currently implementing it."

Mohammed pointed out that the objective of the Turkish occupying state to intensify its attacks on North and East Syria is to strike and fail AANES’s project. "The Turkish occupying state considers the AANES’ project that contributes to the resolution of the Syrian crisis to be a major threat to its influence and Ottoman scheme."

The Turkish state occupied the canton of Afrin in 2018 and Serêkaniyê city and Girê Spî canton in 2019, in accordance with the Misak-ı Millî and a revival of the defunct Ottoman, after those areas achieved achievements thanks to the implementation of the project of AANES.

On the Turkish state's use of agents and spies in the implementation of its Ottoman plans to occupy both Southern Kurdistan and Rojava, to implement the Misak-ı Millî, Mohammed Sheikho said, "It relies on malicious means such as a network of agents and spies to communicate information about the leaders to be targeted."

Regarding Ankara's convergence with the Government of Damascus promoted by the Turkish media and the visit of Turkish Intelligence Service chief Hakan Vidan to Iraq, Mohammed asserted that it "seeks to develop its relationship with all parties to help them strike the democratic nation project".

Most recently, Russia and the Turkish occupying state have sought to amend the "Adana Agreement" between the Government of Damascus and Turkey in 1998, which aims to eradicate Kurds and their struggle, and the freedom movement of Kurdistan and leader Ocalan, who is fighting against the fascist Turkish state.

Commenting on this, the Kurdish intellectual Mannan Jaafar explained that the objectives of the "Adana Agreement" signed between Syria and Turkey in 1998, in entering Turkey 5 km deep within Syrian territory, were to eliminate any Kurdish activity, saying "This agreement was a conspiracy against the Kurdish presence. Turkey's attempts from that time to today are based on the depravation of the Kurdish people of its rights.”

Extermination of Kurds

Mannan asserted that the Turkish State, by various military and political means and the use of mercenaries and the so-called coalition, sought to strike the Rojava revolution and the AANES project, "From the Ottoman Caliphate to the Kamel Atatürk era as well, Turkey is working to exterminate, the leader Abdullah Ocalan also mentioned in his fifth volume. (Manifesto Democratic Civilization) that the Turkish approach to the Kurdish cause is based not only on its cultural annihilation, but also on its total annihilation.”

The phase of protecting the existence from extermination

Referring to the Kurd's requirement to fail all plans against them by the Turkish occupying state, Mannan stated: "The enemy is working to put an end to our existence, so the Kurds are required to hold a Kurdistan national conference as soon as possible, bringing together all Kurdish parties that Turkey sees as an enemy of its existence."

The Kurdish intellectual Mannan Jafar, in conclusion, stressed the need for the Kurds to have a unified position: "We are now in the phase of protecting the existence, and the Turkish state is using chemical weapons against our fighters in the Kurdistan Mountains in the midst of international failure, so standing against that is the duty of every Kurdish."
