​​​​​​​Outcome of 6 months of battles against the Turkish occupation army

The Media Center of People Defense Forces issued a statement revealing the outcome of the battles with the Turkish occupation army during the past six months in the period from April 14 to October 14, 2022.

The beginning of the statement reads: "6 months have passed since the beginning of the attacks of Turkish occupation state on the areas of Zap, Avaşin and Matena with the aim of occupying southern Kurdistan. Since the first day of the attacks, freedom fighters have turned every inch of Kurdistan's territory into resistance fields."

The statement mentioned that Turkish occupation army has used chemical weapons and prohibited bombs against Guerilla fighters during attacks from April 14, 2022 until now, and added: "Since the beginning of the occupation attacks until now and for 6 months the Turkish occupation army has used chemical weapons and banned bombs 2476 times against sites and trenches of war.

The statement also confirmed the killing of 2346 soldiers of Turkish occupation army during 2256 battles and military operations, while 153 fighters were martyred  during the past six months.
