​​​​​​​Hassan Koçer: Dire consequences if happened convergence between Ankara- Damascus 

ANHA’s agency interviewed with the vice co-chairmanship of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Hassan Koçer, talking about the possibility the convergence of the views between Damascus and Ankara, about the necessity of the decentralization in solving the Syrian crisis, and ISIS/ Daesh insurgency once again.

 “At the outset he touched upon to the Turkish role in Syria, was negative role, other words its role is to spread sabotage, unthinkable devastation had been caused against infrastructures, huge factories, its goal not to solve Syria crisis, but exploitation what is happing in Syria, also what is so-called opposition had been turned the defenders for “National Security.”     

Hassan added that” it’s obvious of the Turkish state statements of the convergence between the two sides is a total fiasco of its foreign policy. Hence, we must make comparison with the previous statements of the Turkish occupation towards Damascus, accusing the regime as a dictatorial regime and cannot be accepted. Now, they have changed their position totally.”

During his speech he focused on the possibility of the convergence between Damascus and Ankara that may deep the Syrian crisis more than ever, and we can also say its purpose to divide Syria. So, the Syrian regime must be vigilant that any rapprochement is to the demarcation of borders that is formulated by Turkey, despite of the occupied areas is living as Turkish states in dealing with Turkish lira, hoisting flags…etc, that grants Turkish occupation the legitimization to occupy those areas.

Adding” the purpose of this rapprochement is to eradicate AANES, if that happens, we will witness new war into Syria, that will lead to new bloody war, but let everyone knows why Syria has preserved it identity and national values by virtue of AANES and SDF resistance, if it had not this struggle, we would have divided for years. However, ANNES will defend of its areas and the Syrian’s sovereignty whatever cost.”   

Speaking about the external pathways under way purporting to resolve the Syrian crisis, in particular the Astana meetings, which the Governments of Damascus and Ankara have been working on to date; "Contrary to what they claim to be talking about the Astana meetings between Russia and Turkey as a platform for resolving the crisis in Syria," he said. They are fake meetings; they can be explicitly said to be Syria's destruction meetings. of the massacres, destruction and other atrocities, the decisions taken at these meetings are the handover of Syrian cities to Turkey. What decisions have these meetings taken for the benefit of the Syrian people, of course, These States are not seeking to resolve the crisis in Syria, because the solution means that all these States are out of the country. "

Hassan Koçer pointed out that one language and one flag in a central state could not be imposed on Syria and that this is what the Damascus Government seeks to impose, which is not possible. and stressing that the only solution is decentralization, which does not mean division, it means that the regions are given wider powers to manage themselves, yet the capital, Damascus, will be the centre recognized by all departments. There will be coordination in the decentralized State between the AANES and Damascus.

He said, "While the SDF is fighting ISIS cells in different areas of Syria, especially in al-Hol Camp and al-Sina’a Prison we see an escalation in Turkish attacks against the SDF, it’s a clear Turkish message that we don't accept that our allies fight ISIS. The SDF provided 120 martyrs in al-Sina’a Prison in order to maintain global stability in the light of Turkey's attempt to strike this stability. if the Turkish state continues its offensive against the areas of northern and eastern Syria; The world threatens to live in instability as a result of the practices of ISIS and the Turkish state. "

On the duplication of international dealings with Turkey and the ISIS file, He said, "Unfortunately, NATO States claim to be fighting ISIS within the formed coalition; If Turkey is part of this alliance how can ISIS be so clearly supported, how can the international community accept this, it is unacceptable and unreal, this shows that there are countries that are unwilling to confront Turkey politically and highlight counter-positions to Ankara; There are trade relations between those States and Turkey, which explains their silence about Turkey's practices against the SDF. "

"If these countries make clear their position on ISIS, they must clarify their position on Turkey as well, the rally of terrorism cannot be fought and the source of terrorism ignored."
