Kurdish nationalism achieved its victory with the PKK, and faced the most barbaric policies, including the annihilation policies pursued by the Turkish occupying state, which harnessed all its capabilities and relations to eliminate this Kurdish nationalism, and countless examples of its brutality appeared, and it committed war crimes against humanity against the Kurdish people and violated the law ethics and religion in front of the eyes of the whole world.

In response to these crimes and attacks, patriotic figures from the Tirbespiyê district of Qamishlo canton confirm that the national spirit will not be defeated in the face of genocide policies, but rather will enhance their awareness of armament and organize their ranks to confront the attacks of the Turkish occupation state.

Maqbola Hussain, one of the women who got to know the PKK in the eighties through the martyr Khibat Dogan, one of the party’s first cadres in Tirbespiyê district, points out that “the PKK revolution differed from the rest of the Kurdish uprisings that preceded it, with a new ideology for the salvation of the Kurdish people from extermination, and the massacres, the party that follows the approach of freedom and democracy, and this is what prompted me and prompted many Kurds to engage in the struggle.”

Maqbola touched on the difficulties they faced in the struggle, "We were subjected to repression by the ruling regimes, and the struggle over the years was subjected to many attempts to attacks through which the Turkish enemy used various methods."

"We have struggled, and we will continue to struggle, to build a free, democratic homeland where justice will prevail," she stressed.

In her turn, the citizen Muhammed Zaki Ossi from the village of Utbah, northeast of Tirbespiyê district, who got to know the freedom movement in 1981 while working in Saudi Arabia through some patriots present there, and also met the leader Abdullah Ocalan in Damascus in the years (1992-1996), explained that "The Turkish occupation state has sought to eliminate the will of the Kurds by launching successive attacks against the PKK since its declaration in 1978, but the party has grown stronger and more organized and its popularity has grown."

He continued, "Since its establishment, the Freedom Movement has been subjected to a private and media war, in addition to launching attacks and military campaigns by the Turkish occupation state, which worked to establish political and religious parties and currents against the ideology of the Freedom Movement, in addition to arming Kurdish people in northern Kurdistan in exchange for money to confront the strugglers and obliterate the soul. patriotism that escalated with the emergence of the Kurdistan Workers' Party.

He stressed that the democratic thought enjoyed by the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, and his struggle for all oppressed peoples and his quest to guarantee their rights, are not compatible with the interests of the conspiring countries with colonial agendas, and that the theories that the leader developed are still applied on the ground through the Rojava revolution.

The mother of the martyrs Nubar and Lund Khalaf, Hayat Suleiman, who was influenced by the party’s ideas from publications and books that her brother Khaled brought during his years of study at the University of Aleppo, agrees to promote the freedom movement of the national spirit of the peoples of Kurdistan in general.

She stressed that "the Kurdish people stuck to their cause despite all the repressive policies practiced by the colonial and ruling regimes against it," a treaty to escalate the struggle to be worthy of the sacrifices of the martyrs in order to achieve freedom and democracy.
