​​​​​​​In joint attack by Turkish occupation and KDP, 2 Guerilla fighters were martyred and 3 others were wounded.

Roj News Agency reported the martyrdom of 2 fighters of People Defense Forces (Guerilla), and 3 others were wounded by KDP and Turkish occupation army, in air and ground attack, in Khlêfan area of Bashûr (Southern Kurdistan), Amid reports that the wounded were captured by Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) militants.

The agency quoted local sources as saying that "a group of 5 fighters attacked by a Turkish drone yesterday evening at about 19:30 and 20:00 while they were trying to cross from one area to another in Khlêfan area."

It also reported, quoting local security sources, that the Kurdistan Democratic Party militants in the area provided intelligence information to the Turkish state to bomb the Guerilla fighters by drone, then they launched a ground attack on Guerilla, and the air attack resulted in the martyrdom of 2 Guerilla fighters and wounding 3 other fighters while trying to survive.

According to what the agency quoted the sources as saying, the 3 wounded fighters decided not to surrender while they were being besieged by KDP, which resulted in violent clashes between the wounded and KDP militants, after that KDP militants captured the wounded.

For its part, KDP promoted the attack that a UAV belongs to the Turkish occupation state bombed a car belongs to Guerilla fighters, and they rescued the fighters to the hospital.

However, Roj News Agency sources denied it, and confirmed that the Guerilla forces were traveling on foot.

People Defense Forces  (HPG) did not make any statement regarding the joint attack launched by Turkish occupation army and KDP, until the moment of preparing the report .

It is worth noting that 2 groups of Guerilla fighters were ambushed by Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) militants in Khlêfan area and an area near Zê river in July and August 2021, as a result of which 9 fighters were martyred.
