After two months of state of emergency, how preparations go to resist occupiers

 Leader Ocalan focused on the importance of self-defense in his book (Manifesto of Democratic Civilization) in its fifth volume, saying, "Defence is an inherent function in the group, so that life cannot continue without it, just as it is impossible for living creatures to live without food or reproduction, so it is impossible for them to continue living without self-defense, too.

 Leader Abdullah Ocalan says to the people of Kurdistan that "the peoples should organize and protect themselves according to a new strategy that can benefit from past mistakes and experiences according to the people's revolutionary war based on legitimate self-defense." "There is no different expectation for our people except for victory. He believed in victory and this is very important."

 This is what was applied on the ground in northern and eastern Syria, as its people believed in victory and took the path of struggle as a basis against all forms of occupation, injustice, tyranny and attacks that targeted and targeted the revolution, and proved their determination to resist.

  After the Democratic Autonomous Administration declared a state of emergency on July 6, everyone in the region turned into a fighter and a paramedic, and many of the attributes and tasks that are required at the current stage, he is preparing for his front according to his capabilities in order to fight the revolutionary war of the people to confront these occupation attacks.

 And all the bodies, councils, institutions and communes in north and east Syria prepared themselves according to the concept of the revolutionary people’s war at all defensive, medical, logistical and military levels to protect their land alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces, from securing foodstuffs and preparing places to store them, up to building fortifications in all border areas and training  on first aid, carrying a weapon and how to use it.

 The youth, who are the dynamic force of the revolution, joined the state of emergency as soon as it was declared and led the struggle. During an emergency meeting on July 15th, 120 young men and women decided to engage in the battle to confront the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the region and launched a series of activities in the context of the state of emergency, by organizing seminars  And first aid courses to the use of weapons.

Equipping basements and drilling wells

 As for the communes, which are one of the main pillars of the social and administrative system in north and east Syria, they responded to the call of the state of emergency as required, as they organized themselves in ten committees before the announcement of the situation, but after the announcement of the situation, the communes organized themselves into three main committees, which are "protection, services,  and health.”

 In Qamishlo alone, the communes prepared a large number of shelters, provided them with basic necessities, and opened training courses on how to use weapons and courses in first aid, preparing wells, and providing electric generators to fill these wells.

 While the Economics Committee confirms that they have prepared from 70 to 80 percent of the supplies, trying as much as possible to finish the remaining preparations to be fully prepared for any attack.

 The mothers and fathers of the martyrs also responded to this call to follow the option of resistance and prepare themselves to face the Turkish attacks according to the strategy of the People’s Revolutionary War, as they began training in the city of Qamishlo on how to use weapons to support the military forces defending the region.

 The people of Amuda district, which is subjected to almost daily attacks by the Turkish occupation army, built earthen barricades and fortifications at the entrances and exits of the district’s neighborhoods.

 On the medical level, specifically after the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria invited citizens to intensively receive nursing and first aid courses, the medical centers in the region began to open these courses, in addition to equipping emergency teams at the city level, as well as building medical centers in all cities,  and their members receive the necessary training to protect themselves.

 Hundreds of first aid courses have been opened in various cities, districts, towns and villages in north and east Syria and are still continuing.

 'We do not want war, but we are ready to confront any danger that threatens the security of the region'

 Mother Sinem Muhammad, the mother of three martyrs, who struggled in different stages of the freedom revolution and one of the mothers of peace from the city of Derik, says, "The aim of arms training is to protect our region and our people from any possible attack to defend our gains and to follow in the footsteps of the leader who stressed the importance of  Self-defense, and we are mothers of peace, we do not want war, but we are ready to confront any danger that affects the security of the region.”

 "The leader's thought and philosophy laid foundations for the unity of peoples and components, and all conspiracies and schemes against the region will fail," she added.

 Mother Sinem called on the youth to defend their land and not to abandon it and migrate from it.

In turn, a member of the Martyrs' Families Council in Derek Ali Orian indicated, "The reason for training in weapons is the circumstances imposed on us at this stage, because our enemies who occupied our homeland and divided it into four parts, trying by all means to eliminate our existence and identity."

 Orian said, "The guarantor countries witnessed the elimination of ISIS thanks to the sacrifices of the people of the region, yet they turned a blind eye to the attacks of Turkish fascism, and their silence indicates their partnership with the occupation in the attack."

  The co-chair of the People's Municipality in Derik, Sherwan Khalil, also indicated, "After the declaration of the state of emergency, the People's Municipality decided on the appeal and began forming committees in coordination with the towns of Derik district, holding meetings with members of the municipality and distributing tasks and the work mechanism in the event of any emergency."

 Member of the Health Committee in Dirk district, Aisha Obeid, in turn noted their readiness, "The medical staff is ready day and night, and first aid courses have been opened, the number of graduates of which has reached more than one hundred trainees, in addition to training the members of the institutions on first aid."

 Regions, cities, districts, towns and villages are all witnessing preparations and exercises

 The preparations and courses that were opened in Qamishlo, receive the same components and citizens of all regions, cities, towns, districts and even villages of north and east Syria.

 Where the citizens are preparing to confront the occupation, , but the principle adopted is the same "the people's revolutionary war".

 Also in al-Hasakah canton, the people are trained in weapons, first aid and intellectual exercises about the truth and essence of the people’s revolutionary war to defend themselves, in a way that reflects the insistence of the people of the region to defend their gains and values ​​against any attack.

 In al-Shahba canton and the villages of Shara and Sherawa districts, south of the occupied canton of Afrin, the people started undergoing training courses on first aid to educate them about what they should do in emergency cases.

Not only that, the Municipalities Authority in Afrin has worked in cooperation with the people who have long been known for their resistance against all attacks and the policies practiced against them, to equip hundreds of basements, dig trenches around villages, and clean caves in Shirawa district.

 In addition to storing oil in tanks, to secure water and electricity for the people in the event of any attack by the Turkish occupation state on the area, these preparations came due to the difficulty of securing oil due to the suffocating siege on al-Shahba canton by the Damascus government.

 As for the displaced people of Afrin and the original inhabitants of the area, especially the women in the villages located on the lines of contact in the al-Shahba canton, they went to build dig trenches to protect the area.

 In Manbij, which is being directly threatened by the Turkish occupying state, its people stress the continuation of the path of struggle alongside its military forces, while the General Command of the Manbij Military Council, the General Command of the Revolutionaries Army, the General Command of the Al-Bab Military Council, and the General Command of the Kurdish Front Forces affirm that  expanding the scope of its resistance and steadfastness to prevent any "Turkish incursion" and this came on more than one occasion.

 Emphasis on standing with the Syrian Democratic Forces and confronting the occupation

 While the sheikhs and dignitaries of the clans in the region, and all their components, stress their clinging to their land until the last breath, and their standing with the Syrian Democratic Forces and their support in the war against the Turkish occupation, and the same for the war-wounded who did not hesitate to resist alongside their people, and affirmed their complete readiness to confront the Turkish occupation.  Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

 The continuous attacks of the Turkish occupation army result in severe injuries to citizens on an almost daily basis, and affect the health sector in north and east Syria directly, through the occupier’s perpetration of massacres, and consequently the increase in the number of martyrs and wounded who are in urgent need of urgent and necessary treatment, in light of the sector’s inability  The current health cadre to provide the necessary capabilities.

In order to avoid these obstacles during the attacks on the area, the Medical Professions Union in Tabqa city opened a training course on first aid, attended by more than 70 young men/women from Tabqa residents.

 In Raqqa, after declaring a state of emergency, the Raqqa Civil Council announced the formation of a crisis cell from all committees, and the Raqqa Military Council;  In order to operate within the state of emergency in face of any attack.

 On July 17, the Raqqa Military Council confirmed that the people of Syria would stand up to these attacks.

 As for the Directorate of Trade and the Economic Committee in Raqqa, they increased the pace of their work to avoid any potential crisis in light of the Turkish threats, as the Directorate began to provide all basic materials in the markets.

 The People’s Revolutionary War, the war that the people of northern and eastern Syria have taken as its basis to decide their fate in the face of the brutal attacks of the Turkish occupation state, its principles are rooted within every citizen in the region, and on the basis of which the Kobani communes, which faced the attacks of the occupation previously, seek to subject the people to intellectual courses to introduce the true foundations and essence  for this war amidst the medical and other logistical preparations.

 On the stage of the people’s preparations according to the state of emergency, the Vice-President of the Joint Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, and a member of the Crisis Cell for the emergency, Ahin Sweid, explained that 90% of the preparations of the people and the Autonomous Administration in northern and eastern Syria are ready.

 Ahin pointed to the reasons for the Autonomous Administration’s declaration of a state of emergency throughout northern and eastern Syria, and said: “Since the beginning of the revolution, the Turkish state’s attacks on the region have not stopped, and to confront these attacks, the people of the region have always been in a state of readiness, but recently, specifically from last July.  The frequency of these attacks and threats increased, so in preparation for them, the Autonomous Administration declared a state of emergency.”

Regarding the preparations made by the Autonomous Administration and the people of northern and eastern Syria so far, Ahin Sweid explained: "The Autonomous Administration and the people of the region have continued their preparations since the beginning of the declaration of the situation, such as the people receiving self-protection courses in trenches and shelters, in addition to training courses on how to use weapons by the communes and councils.  As for the Autonomous Administration, it prepared and prepared itself from an economic point of view, such as preparing food supplies in the Nowruz market to suffice for six months, and also in terms of storing fuel,” adding, “Service work also did not stop, specifically municipal works, water, electricity and health.”
