Residents of al-Hol camp, the most dangerous camp in the world, praised the "humanity and security" campaign, and stressed that the camp's situation had worsened after the escalation of attacks and threats by the Turkish occupation state in north and east Syria, stressing that Turkey had a hand in what was happening in the camp, hoping that the security and military forces would restore safety and eliminate the situation. On August 25, the Internal Security Forces announced, with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the People's and Women's Protection Units, the second phase of the "Humanity and Security" campaign to pursue the hidden ISIS mercenary cells responsible for the killings and assassinations inside al-Hol camp.

The brutal practices intensified inside the most dangerous camps in the world, after the Turkish occupation state escalated its attacks on northern and eastern Syria.

The fear and terror spread by ISIS mercenary cells in the camp prevented many camp residents from showing their joy in the "Humanity and Security" campaign, launched by the Internal Security Forces to search for ISIS mercenary sleeper cells inside the most dangerous camps in the world.

Our agency's reporter following the progress of security operations against ISIS mercenary cells met with a number of Al-Hol camp residents, who called on the security forces to restore security, safety.

We miss safety

The Iraqi refugee (HW) wished to return to his country. He said about the conditions inside the al-Hol camp: "The situation is not good, there is no safety here."

He noted, "We do not know why these killings are being committed. We also cannot ask, if we do that, we will get into a problem, we cannot talk about it, fear is dominant here."

Killings and executions have increased inside al-Hol camp since the beginning of this year 2022, as cells and families of ISIS mercenaries carried out 43 operations, during which 44 people from the camp's residents, including 14 women and two children, were killed and executed.

Treat them well

Regarding the forces' treatment of them during the "Security and Humanitarian" campaign, (H. W) said, "The security forces' treatment is good, and we did not find any negligence on their part."

As for (A.H), an Iraqi elderly man in his seventies, he said in his colloquial dialect, smiling, "We are afraid, by God, of assassination. Women are being killed. This government is a good one."

Regarding the safe conditions inside al-Hol camp, A.H. said, "The situation has changed a lot, from what it was three years ago. The situation is now very bad. If you go out to the market, you will not be guaranteed to return to your tent."

He said about the forces of the "Humanitarian and Security" campaign, "They are honest, they have combed the tents and this is their duty, and if the Iraqi government followed them, it would not have happened. It is their dependence on themselves," and he stated, "Now in Iraq, every party has a faction." gang wrangling."

A.H wished for a return of calm and peace to Al-Hol camp.

Many were killed without guilt

For his part, (J.S) said, "Previously, the situation here was very calm. We slept without fear. Today, we cannot sleep at night. Many have been killed without guilt, and whoever kills they accuse him of being an apostate."

"We do not know who is doing these actions, what we know is that it wants to destabilize the security and stability of northern and eastern Syria," he said, and whispered, "They killed our neighbors at night."

Turkey has a hand in this

(J.S) pointed out that all the residents of the camp are afraid of killings, in this hot summer we did not sleep outside the tent.

And (J.S) after the first campaign launched by the Internal Security Forces, the situation stabilized for three months, and revealed: "After Turkey moved and escalated its attacks on north and east Syria, the situation here has changed," stressing that "Turkey has a hand in what is happening in the camp," calling on the Internal Security Forces. And the Syrian Democratic Forces to improve the situation in the camp and eliminate ISIS cells as soon as possible.

We want safety and security

The displaced woman (L.J) said, “There is no safety here in the camp, we want safety to return to it.”

(D.Q) agreed with her, and said, "We want safety, because we fear for our children from kidnapping and slaughter, and we are afraid to send them to school, there is no safety, at night we do not know when the day will come until we feel a little safe."

D.Q wished to return to her country, and said, "I wish we would take a trip and return to our country." She sent a message to the Internal Security Forces saying: "You, and not others, can restore security and safety to the camp."
