​​​​​​​Intellectuals confirm that outstanding issues rely on Ocalan’s ideology

Leader Abdullah Ocalan was arrested in 1999, in a plot in which several countries participated, and since then the authorities of the Turkish occupation state have imposed arbitrary measures against him in Imrali prison, despite persistent popular demands for the necessity of achieving his physical freedom.

Visits by family and lawyers for each detainee are considered a legitimate right, according to international laws and charters, but the Turkish occupation state violates these laws and prevents visits from the leader, and the last meeting with him was by his lawyer on August 7^th, 2019.

Kurdish writer Fadi Hassan sees the policy of the Turkish occupation state towards detainees as terrorism and in violation of human rights laws. He said, "Freedom is the basis for every individual, according to international laws and charters, and the isolation imposed by the Turkish occupation state on the leader Ocalan violates these laws."

Hassan referred to what the Turkish occupation state seeks through isolation, saying: "The isolation imposed by the Turkish state on leader Ocalan did not come from a vacuum, but rather from an attempt to encompass this thought and logic from which the leader stems."

The last contact of the leader with the outside world was on the 25th of March 2021, during a phone call with his brother, Mohammad Ocalan, that lasted 5 minutes.

Fadi Hassan attributes the tightening of isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan by the Turkish occupation state and the capitalist countries behind it, to the expansion of the influence of individuals and societies seeking and aspiring for freedom, and those wishing to get rid of the authoritarian and capitalist regimes ruling by the ideas of leader Ocalan, which provide solutions to the outstanding issues of the Middle East.

He said, "They find that the isolation of the leader is an undermining of the freedom of the people who call his name, as he is the thinker and the dynamic founder of a moral and political community, far from power."

Contrary to what is promoted by the Turkish occupation authorities and the capitalist system, the academic and environmentalist Mohammed Hussein described the leader Ocalan as a philosopher and free democratic thinker, and said that isolation came with the beginning of the spread of the philosophy of the leader Ocalan all over the world.

The academic ruled out solving the issues of the Kurdish peoples, the Middle East, as well as the world, without the thought and philosophy of the leader Ocalan, so his physical freedom must be achieved as soon as possible. In order to rid the region and the Middle East of the conflicts that have been going on for years.

Hussein referred to the achievements and victories that were achieved in North and East Syria, thanks to the thought and philosophy of leader Ocalan, and said, "All these positive steps taken by the peoples of the region were thanks to the leader's thought and philosophy, where each component speaks its language, expresses its culture and political vision."

Academic and environmental specialist, Mohammad Hussein, believes, "It is necessary for intellectuals, politicians and other societal segments seeking freedom and democracy to take a firm, unified stance to end isolation and achieve the physical freedom of leader Ocalan."

As the authorities of the Turkish occupation state continue to impose isolation on leader Ocalan, requests submitted by the leader's lawyer and his family remain pending without a response.
