HRE: 4 mercenaries killed in retaliatory actions against Turkish occupation

Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) stated that the Turkish occupation army is daily increasing its attacks aagainst the region. As retaliation against those attacks, 4 Turkish occupation mercenaries were killed and 2 injured in actions carried out in the framework of legitimate self-defense.

Regarding the matter, Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) carried out retaliatory actions against the attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries. 4 mercenaries were killed and a further 2 were also injured as a result.

The statement from HRE is as follows:

“In the framework of legitimate self-defense, our forces carried out retaliatory actions on August 14 and 17, as a response to the daily increasing attacks by the Turkish occupation army.

On August 14, an action was carried out in occupied Afrin`s Mabata district, resulting in 2 occupation mercenaries being killed.

On August 17, an action was carried out close to Maryamin village in the district of Sherawa. The action resulted in 2 occupation mercenaries being killed and a further 2 mercenaries being injured.

A total of 4 mercenaries were killed and 2 mercenaries were injured as a result of those two actions. As the Afrin Liberation Forces, we will not let any attacks by the occupation to go by unanswered. We will protect our people against all attacks by the occupation.”
