Afrin citizens offered condolences to Martyr Barin Botan`s family

The Martyrs Family Council of Afrin region, arranged a condolence ceremony in Shahba canton`s Ahrase district.

Muhammed Walo, member of the Martyr`s Family Council of Shahba spoke during the ceremony and commemorated all the martyrs of the freedom movement. He further condemned the attacks and acts of the Turkish occupation state. He also highlited the struggle and resistance against the occupation.

Emine Dengili, spoke on behalf of the Ahrase District Council and said: “The history of the Turkish genocidal and occupation state is written with massacres and attacks.” She concluded her speach by promising to follow along the path of the martyrs.

Nejah Al-Hussei , Kongra Star member of Ahrase, spoke regarding the acts commited by the occupation and said: “The Turkish state is daily carrying out bombardments against our people”

After the speaches, the martyrs will was read out and handed over to the family.

On behalf of martyr Barin Botan`s family, her father Merwan Bashar, spoke and said: “ Heval Barin joined the movement during the Reistance of the Age. She took her name from martyr Barin Kobane, and her lastname, Botan, from martyr Jouma Botan. We are proud of Barin`s martyrdom and we will sacrifice our lives for the sake of freedom and victory”

On July 22, a Turkish occupation UAV targeted a car on the Qamishlo highway. Jiyan Tolhildan- commander of the Anti Teror Units(YAT),  YPJ- commander Roj Khabour and YAT member Barin Botan were martyred in the attack.
