Body of a member of Anti-Terrorist Units, Barin Botan, laid to rest in Al-Shahba

 After the body of the fighter Barin Botan arrived at Afrin Hospital this afternoon, the funeral procession proceeded towards the shrine of the martyrs of the Resistance of the Age in the Ahras district of al-Shahba canton.

 Upon the people's arrival at the shrine, the funeral ceremony began with a minute of silence, followed by a speech by the administrator in the Martyrs' Families Council, Hassan Barko, who began offering condolences to the families of the martyr and all the martyrs of freedom.

 He continued, denouncing the complicity of the guarantor powers in the region with the Turkish occupation state, which is committing massacres against the peoples of the region, targeting them with drones.

 Berko said: "The Turkish occupation state claims that we pose a threat to its national security, considering all the peoples of northern and eastern Syria as terrorists. The whole world sees the struggle of these peoples against terrorism and sees the sacrifices made by the sons and daughters of this great people in order to eliminate terrorists such as ISIS and others, so how for the Turkish occupying state to invoke this, it is the source of terrorism and terrorists in the region.”

 Then the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Afrin Shiraz Hammo delivered a speech in which she recalled all the martyrs of the Freedom in the person of the three martyrs, Jiyan, Roj and Barin, who were martyred in a drone attack of the Turkish occupation on the Qamishlo-Tirbeapiye road in Al-Jazera region on the 22nd  From this July.

 Shiraz continued, "Today, we bid farewell to an icon that shone in the sky of freedom, which did not accept injustice, but rather wanted a free life, but sought it and its companions, the hand of tyranny and treachery, the hand of the fascist Turkish occupation, the Turkish fascism that never knew the meaning of democracy, as it passes its aggressive policies to the forums  the international community, under the pretext of protecting its national security, and seeking to build a region that claims to be safe.”

 Shiraz stressed that the Turkish occupation state is unable to secure safety for anyone, because the areas occupied by it in the north of Syria constitute a hotbed of terrorism, and the best evidence for this "is the killing of ISIS terrorist leaders within those areas, and this is clear evidence of Turkey's embrace of these terrorists, not to mention the fighting  mercenaries have looted, kidnapped and tortured people in the areas of Turkish occupation.

 After that, the martyr's document was read by a member of the Education Authority, Rohat Ahmed, and handed over to her family.

 The ceremony ended with mourners chanting slogans saluting the martyrs.
