​​​​​​​KCK on the Zakho massacre: We will hold the Turkish Republic to account for this massacre

The KCK foreign affairs comittee made a statement regarding the Zakho massacre carried out by the Turkish state. The comitte pointed out that the fascist state has massacred 28 civilians in Kurdistan during the last 7 months.

They stated that the international forces and regional reactionary forces had a role in the massacre and said: “The fascist and genocidal Turkish Republic have support first and foremost from the UN, the US, NATO, EU and regional reactionaries as well as Kurdish parners. Their politics have no boundaries and are destroying and burning the nature in Kurdistan along with its civlians and the guerillas”

The statement from the KCK foreign affairs comittee is as follows:

“Since July 20 2022, the fascist occupying Turkish state has continued its attacks against South Kurdistan with the cooperation of PDK. Yesterday afternoon, the Turkish army shelled Arab tourists in Perekhe village of Zakho`s Derkare district. 8 tourists lost their lives and 23 were injured as a result of the shelling carried out by the Turkish occupying army. During the past 7 months, 28 civilians were unjustly murdered by attacks from the fascist Turkish state. The genocidal fascist Turkish state is carrying out genocidal politics first and foremost in South Kurdistan, Rojava and North Kurdistan in a genocidal manner never seen before. The fascist and genocidal Turkish Republic have support first and foremost from the UN, the US, NATO, EU and regional reactionaries as well as Kurdish parners. Their politics have no boundaries and are destroying andburning the nature in Kurdistan along with its civlians and the guerillas”

`MASSACRES NOT ONLY IN ZAKHO`

The Turkish Republic is experiencing historical losses in Zap, Avashin and Metina at the hands of the guerilla and are using tactical nuclear wepaons, thermobaric bombs and chemical weapons which constitutes crimes. The filthy wars of AKP-MHP have not been able to achieve any of their goals despite murdering and injuring dozens of our people in Shengal, Makhmour, Kune Masi, Kelar, Rojava, Mosul-Nineveh, Suleymania and latest in Zakho.

`Don`t legitimize the warcrimes of the Turkish Republic, dont`t become an accomplice`

With the silence of the government in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, these attacks are being legitimized.

First and foremost the UN, US, EU and the international forces should take a clear stance against the indiscriminate attacks of Turkey against Iraq and Syria. Don`t become an accomplice to the warcrimes of the Turkish Republic.

The main goal should be to put a stop to the fascist regime and their Neo Ottoman dream which is leaving the whole region trenched in blood. All the dynamics of the region must know that neither the Middle East or the world will become peaceful until the Turkish state`s fascism is neutralized.

`WE WILL ASK FOR ACCOUNTABILITY`

We call for our people and supporters to once again take a clear position against this attack and carry out their actions in a highly organized manner. We commemorate our martyred people with deep respect and wish for a quick recovery for the injured. We promise the movement and the people that we will hold the regime of the Turkish Republic to account for this massacre.”
