​​​​​​​Council of Tal Tamr district and French delegation discuss situation, crimes of occupation

 After concluding their tour in Qamishlo, the French delegation headed by former French Foreign Minister Bernard Concher, writer and author on Kurdish affairs Patrice Franceschi, French writer Roxana Damasionovy, and the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in France, Khaled Issa, and member of the Administrative Board in the Department of Foreign Relations of Northeast Syria, Khaled Ibrahim, visited  The council of Tel Tamer district in Al-Hasakah canton, to discuss the situation of the city and the region in general.

 The delegation was received by the joint presidency of the district council and the administrators of the institutions in the region.  During their meeting, they discussed the situation of civilians and the suffering they live with in light of the presence of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the outskirts of the district, in addition to informing the delegation of the damage caused by the occupation in the region at all levels.

 After the meeting they held, the delegation headed with the district council to one of the points overlooking the fighting fronts with the mercenaries of the occupation, where the council briefed the delegation on the continuous attacks of the Turkish occupation targeting the residents of the area.

 On the sidelines of the meeting, our agency met with the co-chair of the Tel Tamer sub-district council, Juan Mulla Ayoub, to talk about the most important points of the meeting.  In this regard, Mulla Ayoub said: "Our discussions with the French delegation focused on the situation of the people and the service situation in the region, in addition to the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its continuous violations against the residents of the region. We  briefed them on the transgressions of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against the region and its residents."

 He added, "The reason for their visit to the region is to send a detailed report on the region to the French state, in addition to providing support to the region, and among the questions we received during the meeting, we assured the delegation that the residents of the region do not want any material or service support, but the demands of the peoples of the region are only to remove the occupation."  The Turkish and its mercenaries from the region and the return of the displaced to their homes.

 The French delegation had confirmed during a press conference held in Qamishlo this morning, that the French people realize the extent of the sacrifices of the people of north and east Syria and stand by them, and called on all democratic countries to work to prevent any Turkish attack.
